Introduction: Aims and Objectives of the 'Muslim Law Students' UK
'Muslimlawstudents' was the brainchild of a few Muslim students in the UK who felt the need to study and spread awareness of Islamic Law and Islamic legal principles to law students in the UK in order to actively contribute to the pluralism of Britain's legal system and provide a much-needed voice in debates that affect Muslims living in Britain.
Essentially, 'Muslimlawstudents' is a non-profit association of students that endeavours to organise Lectures, Conferences and Adacemic Fora in order to provide essential education on Islamic Law and Jurisprudence for Muslim law students as well as non-Muslim law students, who intend on practicing law in the UK, entering Academia, or have active interest in Islamic Law.
Additionally, 'Muslimlawstudents' hopes to provide a networking base for law students with Academics and professionals with a view to assisting them with their entry into the professional arena.
It is Not a forum to protest and promote that the United Kingdom be turned into a Shari'ah State!!
